The Medini Central Business Ditrict (CBD) is an urban township with an integrated and comprehensive masterplan coordinated by MIM. Water supply Medini is supplied by a dedicated reservoir with a holding capacity of 16million gallons, distributed by 72km of piping and plumbing.
For the power supply, Medini has a maximum load demand of 350 MVA, Three Phasor Measurement units (PMUs) 275kV/132kV/33kVV sites, seven Power processing units of 33kV and twenty-two 11kV substations.
For telecommunications, Medini has 257km of Telco ducting comprising six-way, four-way and two-way ducts. This allows Medini to be one of the rare places in Malaysia where you have access to four Internets Service providers (ISP’s) and in exceptional circumstances allows for the laying of dedicated fibre via Medini’s ducts if required.
This is in addition to Telco Towers, in-building cellular and small cell services provide Medini with state-of-the-art communications infrastructure.
The Iskandar Puteri Core Data Centre (IPDC) incorporates 90,000 sq ft (8.400 sq m) of data center white space that is Uptime Tier III Design and Construction certified, and another 10,000 sq ft (930 sq m) each for office suites and disaster recovery workspaces. Incorporating a “Twin Core” strategy with the Klang Valley Core Data Center (KVDC), located 320km away at Cyberjaya, in the state of Selangor.
